Histology Technician

Organization is physician owned and operated. The position will be expected to perform and demonstrate proficiency and understanding of the lab procedures, including Grossing, Embedding, Sectioning and Staining.

Position reports to a fantastic Lab Operations Manager. Position will be a Night Shift role and will work independently. Qualified candidates will be an excellent communicator, great with prioritization, and would be expected to embed approximately 60/blocks an hour and cut up to 40/blocks an hour.

To be considered, you must have completed a program from a NAACLS certified Histology School and hold HT or HTL (ASCP) certification. Must have 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a high volume, anatomic pathology lab and be comfortable with dermpath and/or GI Specimens. Organization prefers candidates who have some experience and familiarity with Private/AP/Derm Labs, not just hospital experience.

Competitive Compensation based on experience, between $24-$34/hr, plus $2 for Night shift. Relocation assistance is available.
