Responsibilities

Position Overview

  • Must live in Kentucky

The Community Based Program (CBP) Hiring Coordinator assists the leadership staff of CBP Programs in the daily operational functions of hiring, training, and onboarding staff. In addition, the CBP Hiring Coordinator is a liaison between the recruiting department and program operations leadership staff.

  • Attends weekly hiring meetings as wl l as weekly management team meetings

  • Facilitates weekly operations meetings to ensure necessary information is communicated from managers and recruiting meetings.

  • Ensures applicants are engaged by the supervisory team in a timely manner and interviews set up in a reasonable amount of time established by the leadership team

  • Informing the Executive Director/Director/Assistant Director if there are any concerns with the new hire onboarding

  • Holds regular new hire focus groups and communicates recommendations to the leadership team. Frequency and duration of focus groups are established by the leadership team.

  • Ensures new hires have appropriate onboarding activities and training schedules are clear, organized and well planned by leadership staff.

  • Assist as needed with interviews, training, and updating of recruiting system

  • Ensures applicants are being processed in a timely manner.

  • Compiling weekly HR reports to ensure all required documentation is accurate for program staff (transcripts, and driver's license, out of state driver's license)

  • Works closely with recruiting department and intern coordinator(s) on college and university relationships including frequent presentations, recruiting of staff, and engagement of college/university leadership.

  • Attending recruiting scheduled open houses for CBP staffing as well as internship events.

  • Works directly with program leadership and recruiting concerning issues with new staff.

  • Monitors new hire training schedule to ensure staff trainings are conducted within the appropriate time frame.

  • Conducts observations of interviews and onboarding activities to ensure quality.

  • Travel to offices and different locations in the region/state. Frequency established by program leadership.

  • Ensure all new hires have all required documentation submitted, computer, and training schedule prior to start date. Follows up with new hires prior to start of orientation.

  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be added or required

Qualifications

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree is required1 to 2 years of experience working in community-based programs is preferred but not required.

Leadership experience is preferred.

Experience with interviewing and hiring is preferred
