Ensures the organization's compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Affordability Act (HIPAA) and all other policies, procedures, laws, and regulations concerning protected health information.

This is a .8 FTE (32 hrs/wk), hourly position based in Greeley, Colorado.

Job Duties

  • Safeguards and protects the patient's right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the patient's medical information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, company policy and HIPAA regulations.

  • Compiles, processes, and maintains medical records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system.

  • Prioritizes release of information requests, retrieves medical records from active, inactive and interdepartmental locations. Electronically tracks and delivers records in accordance with established procedures.

  • Performs self-quality checks on all work to assure accuracy of the release, confidentiality and proper billing/charging.


  • Associate's degree.

  • 2 years' experience within an acute care hospital setting.


  • Bachelor's degree, training in Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy.

  • Certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

Job Summary: The Labeling and Packaging Specialist will provide labeling and packaging design support to a global agricultural business with hundreds of products across multiple business units. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Labeling and Packaging Specialist is responsible for the timely production of labels and packaging design according to brand standards and regulatory guidelines. Key Tasks: * Collaborate with label/package initiators to plan, prepare and submit complete, accurate and compliant deliverables * Manages content changes, updates to product labels, packaging and other forms of regulated materials in compliance with global and regional standards and regulations * Take ownership in projects by creating professional work, meeting deadlines, and staying within a budget * Interpret, analyze, compare and make decisions regarding content, in collaboration with stakeholders, to support the design of labels * Establish relationships of trust with cross functional team members by explaining labeling processes and timelines * Maintain all files and documentation throughout label development process * Drives labeling activities from design to delivery * Interact with printing companies to assure labels progress * Stay current with EPA, PMRA and state labeling requirements * Maintain Current Database of States label requirement and due dates for labels. * Comply with record retention and furnish history of label development * Provides guidance to management in identifying/executing alternate strategies to facilitate or accelerate delivery Skills: * Deep understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, plus other design software * Highly organized and detailed * Process oriented and enjoys consistency * Passion for complying to regulatory requirements * Exceptional documentation skills Qualifications: * A degree in Graphic Design * Proficient knowledge of: Adobe Creative Suite (especially in Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro and Illustrator), Acrobat, and Microsoft 2010 * Must be organized and detailed oriented * Highly self-motivated and accountable * The highest ethical standards Nutrien Ag Solutions, a Nutrien Company, is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
