Millwood Hospital is currently seeking a dynamic HIM/Medical Records Analyst to join our team!
Job Duties/Responsibilities/Job Requirements
The Health Information Analyst functions as an integral member of the health information management team by ensuring the quality maintenance of medical records and patient information, within the standards set up by the department and the facility.
Education: High school diploma, or equivalent preferred.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in a health care facility.
Ability to work closely with facility and medical staff, good communication skills, and excellent organizational skills, and a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm is required.
Proficiency in Medical Records Coding. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
