  • Under general supervision of Director/Manager/Supervisor, following established policies, procedures and professional guidelines, performs health information activities necessary to organize, maintain and use electronic and paper patient health records.

  • Depending on area assigned, may specialize in one or more clerical functions including: maintenance of records in centralized location; indexing, scanning and validating; chart retrieval; reconciling medical record activity; qualitative/ quantitative physician documentation review; coding clerical support, transcription processing and interface; importing images of medical records from outside sources.

  • Accesses and updates electronic tracking systems. Answers telephones and assists with continuity of care requests for medical records.

  • Understands chart organization and content, TGH and external requirements related to chart documentation and privacy.

  • Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and eighteen (18) months of experience as an HIM Technician II at Tampa General Hospital; OR Associate or Bachelor degree in HIM with certification as RHIT/RHIA within three (3) months of hire.

Knowledge and competencies in Health Information Practices and Technologies, including medical terminology.

Applied analytical skills. Advanced problem-solving skills. Wide-range attention to detail.

Strong professional customer service and communication skills. Proficiency with basic computer programs and intermediate keyboarding skills. Detailed knowledge of medical record content and regulatory standards for documentation and privacy. Detailed, working knowledge of TGH HIM systems including but not limited to OnBase and Epic; OR general knowledge of Document Management Systems and Electronic Health Records with HIM degree.

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 Overview This technical position requires a minimum of 4 calendar years of aircraft maintenance experience, able to trouble shoot repair a vast majority of tasks with limited guidance on multiple manufactured airframes and types. Reports to the Facility Supervisor and/or Facility Manager of company Repair Station. Aircraft Technician Class A is responsible for performing fuel tank maintenance. This includes preventive maintenance and alteration tasks as directed and assigned in accordance with the applicable maintenance data. The qualifications for this position is knowledge, experience and/or training required to perform the assigned task. This position will not be assigned management, supervisory or inspection duties and does not have authorization to sign a maintenance release for approving, maintained or altered article for return to service. Therefore, this position is not required to be certified under 14 CFR - part 65 or be listed on the Management, Supervisor, or Inspector roster. Responsibilities Duties: Carry out the assigned tasks, in accordance with the applicable maintenance manual.Maintenance performed which have been completed or partially completed have been signed off. Ensure maintenance operations are performed in the appropriate sequence that inspections are requested in an orderly and timely manner and that maintenance activities are performed according to the appropriate maintenance data and customer requirements. Ensure test equipment or tools used to make airworthiness determinations are labeled and current. Request stock as required for the work being performed. Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record and complete the additional paperwork as required. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner. Remain cognizant of applicable FAR part 14S and 43. Familiar with the content of the company Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual and subsequent revisions. Responsible for recording time of tasks assigned. Immediately communicating to supervision any procedures, practices or habits, if not corrected might lead to injury, inefficiency or un-airworthy conditions. The work demands flexible schedule and the ability to fit into small areas and work in confined spaces. Qualifications Required Skills: Trouble shoot and repair of multiple airframes and types.
