Responsible for maintenance, analysis, and review of Electronic Medical Records, in order to ensure effective operations.


  • Prefer an Associate's degree from a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) accredited program; OR
  • Prefer an Associate's degree in a health care related field.


  • Must have four years of health care related experience.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience

  • May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for the experience requirements.


  • Prefer registration as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT); OR, have current licensure in a health care related field.

Skills or Special Abilities:

  • Must pass the Medical Terminal Digit Filing test with a minimum score of 80%.

  • Must pass the alphanumeric Data Entry test with an accuracy rate of 80%, with minimum keystrokes of 3,000.

  • Must pass the General Computer test with a minimum score of 80%.

  • Must pass the Skillcheck Medical Terminology test with a minimum score of 80%.

  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software applications.

  • Must have strong analytical skills and organizational skills and be detail oriented.

  • Must have a working knowledge of Health Information Management procedures, forms, and content, and be able to comprehend and apply established policy and procedures.

  • Must successfully complete required training and meet prescribed performance standards within 90 days of employment.

  • Must be able to operate a PC and use spreadsheet, wordprocessing, database, and graphics software.

  • Must be able to demonstrate good decision-making skills.

  • Must be detail oriented and exhibit effective organizational skills.

  • Must have good written and oral communication skills with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge regarding HIM computer software, including master patient index record tracking, deficiency analysis, release of information, etc.

  • Must have knowledge of medico-legal and regulatory requirements.

The Data Management Solutions (DMS) organization within Data Management & Insight provides holistic and consistent data management capabilities to Wells Fargo. This includes domain management, data quality monitoring, metadata management, data lake management, and master/reference data management. This role will report to the Report Documentation Manager and partner with Data Management Solutions/Data Management & Insight leaders, strategists, and line of business partners to plan and execute program-specific Organizational Design and Change Management activities. This role focuses on providing guidance and oversight to the execution of Change Management Strategy (i.e., communications, training, stakeholder engagement) and Target Operating Model implementation for the Data Management Solutions organization. Report Mapping & Issue Identification: The Report Mapping & Issue Identification (RMII) team within DMS creates an end-to-end view of the in-scope Governance & Oversight (G&O) Risk and Regulatory reports; this includes identifying people, processes, and data used to create and produce the reports, as well as associated risks, controls, issues, and gaps. The Data Mgmt Consultant 2 will be accountable for fulfilling Enterprise Data Governance, Regulatory and Risk Reporting Governance & Oversight (G&O) Framework, and Policy and Standards for COSO Compliance requirements across regulatory and risk reports in-scope. Responsibilities may include management of a small team that consist of Wells Fargo team members and contractors. The report documentation consultant develops and manages documentation for regulatory and risk reports in a timely and effective manner. Key Responsibilities Include: * Executes the documentation of end-2-end data/processes for RMII in-scope Risk and Regulatory reports * Facilitate detailed alignment of financial product data elements to reporting * Design and maintain processes to ensure accuracy and integrity (i.e. documentation provides accurate end-to-end view) across all documentation * Collaborate and coordinate with executive and key leaders to maintain commitment to Report Mapping & Issue Identification (RMII) strategic objectives * Designs and develops deliverables to document end-2-end data/processes for RMII in-scope Risk and Regulatory reports * Leverage COSO principles, data management standards, and other skills to ensure compliance with G&O Framework, COSO, and EDG requirement/policies * Partnering with support groups (Governance & Oversight, Data Management, Analytics, Change Management, and Technical Interpretations) to improve the control environment * Drive report documentation activities in partnership with consultants against target timelines and escalate risks, as needed.
