Hill AFB - Cyber Security Specialist

Spectrum is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist who has responsibility to provide working level systems-engineering services for a USAF client whose efforts are focused on ICBM Integration Support activities. Successful candidates will be a qualified engineer with Systems Engineering experience, a degree in engineering, and at least six years of experience in the field. Candidates should be able to do the following:

• Relevant core and advanced certifications as established/required per local, national and international industry standards or as necessitated by performance expectations associated with level of appointment

• Knowledge, skill and abilities run in conjunction with current versions of AFMAN17-1303, DoDI 8570, and stated educational requirements

• High degree of experience and knowledge in security disciplines required

• Journeyman skill set includes ability to perform all stated/implied duties within this tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tier

• Assists with the development and implementation of information assurance (IA), and security standards and procedures

• Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for an organization

• Performs analysis, design, and development of security features

• Analyzes and defines security requirements systems

• Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems

• Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle

• Assists in the coordination of joint strategic and operational planning and execution of joint fires, targeting, capability pairing, and threat mitigation

• Works under general supervision of a Project Manager or Lead, and is able to act in their behalf when authorized

Requirements

• BS degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field + 4 years of experience

OR

• MS degree + 2 years of experience

OR

• PHD + 1 years of experience
