As a Highway/Roadway Project Manager, you'll have the chance to manage a multi-discipline team of technical resources in delivering transportation projects, and will assist in forming client outreach strategy and relationship development actions, identify key pursuits and lead positioning efforts. Working with other members of the team, you'll share in our internal structure which promotes autonomy and allows for great opportunities to deliver local projects in Idaho but to also be involved in delivering transportation solutions to clients in the Western U.S. and beyond. Your knowledge of the local area transportation community including Idaho Transportation Department (ITD), Ada County Highway District (ACHD), Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (LHTAC), special authorities, key stakeholders, and short- and long-range transportation improvement plans as well as your experience with taking local roadway and highway projects from conceptual design through final PS&E will be key to your success. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
BS degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
At least 10 years of progressive experience in highway design projects
At least 5 years of project management experience
Professional Engineering registration (PE), or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Microstation, and Inroads design software and knowledge of state-of-the-art highway design technologies
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
At least 3 years of business development/client service manager experience
Experience leading environmental studies
