High Yield Credit Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced credit analyst within US high yield and/or leveraged loans. The candidate should have experience in analyzing deals in the primary new issue market and developing their own ideas in the secondary. The High Yield Credit Analyst will be familiar with portfolio structures of mutual funds, separate managed accounts and collateralized loan obligations (CLO's). Candidate is able to work efficiently within an analyst team setting, both in the office and a hybrid/at-home schedule.

You are

  • Already covering specific sectors independently

  • Comfortable conducting your own research, through multiple channels and resources

  • Hold a strong combination of quantitative modelling skills and ability to communicate recommendations.

You have

  • 10+ years of experience as a credit analyst in High Yield and/or Leveraged Loan asset classes

  • Both a strong level of credit modelling and communication skills to pitch their ideas effectively

  • CFA or MBA encouraged.

  • Current mix of recommendation ideas and examples of previous trade ideas

  • Current High Yield or Leveraged Loan references.

You will

  • Take independent ownership of assigned sectors, including secular trends, relative value and other competitive factors

  • Be part of an analyst team to generate trading ideas across various portfolio mandates

  • Maintain existing and develop new industry contacts and utilize 3rd party research resources

  • Partner on marketing initiatives in terms of quarterly reporting and capital raising efforts

  • Collaborate with other areas of Investments and asset classes when needed

  • Be the internal SME in your sectors of focus and communicate directly with Investments leadership as required

Reporting Relationships

In this role you will report to the Senior Managing Director, Head of Public Fixed Income.

Location:

  • 3+ Days per week - Hudson Yards, NYC Headquarters, 2 days WFH.

Salary Range:

$199,500 - $272,000

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
