As a senior member of the ASIC Development Engineering team, you will characterize high speed IPs, lead validation efforts for Micron controllers for SSD and Managed NAND products.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Define methodologies for validating high speed transceiver blocks
Ensure transceiver meets protocol compliance requirements for standards such as PCIe, UFS, ONFI, DDR
Evaluate High Speed IP from external vendors and internally developed sources
Work with Design and Architecture teams to correlate silicon performance with simulations
Review PCB design for high speed transceiver characterization boards
Data analysis and create characterization reports
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related fields with 5+ year experience with high speed transceiver testing
Hands on experience with test equipment such as scopes, BERTs and analyzers
Experience in characterizing PLL, CDR, TX/RX analog front-end
Experience in common scripting languages such as Python/PERL and object-oriented languages such as C/C++/VBA.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
