Varsity Head Girls Basketball Coach Job Description Hired by: Athletic Director, SRC Campus Administrator and SRC School Board Reports Directly to:

Athletic Director Evaluated: Annually Supervises: Athletes, TheHead Coach at Stone Ridge Christian Christian School is to live and coach in such a way so that student athletes are led to righteousness in every area of life, and in particular their athletic development.

It is the coach's responsibility to implement the following duties: REQUIRED PERSONAL QUALITIES A Head Coach at Stone Ridge Christian School shall: Have received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior Believe that the Bible is God's word and standard for faith and daily living Be in whole-hearted agreement with the school's Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education.

ADDITIONAL PERSONAL QUALITIES A Head Coach shall: Demonstrate the character qualities of enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance and punctuality. Meet the stress of athletic competition with emotional stability and positive words/actions.

Maintain a personal appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, good taste and agreement with school policy. Use acceptable English in written and oral communication. Speak with clear articulation.

Has playing or coaching experience of the game at the high school or college level and has a clear understanding of rules and regulations. An extensive knowledge and background of the sport that he/she is coaching Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Coaching responsibilities: STUDENT ATHLETES Provide devotion and prayer during each practice, with intentionality to lead athletes to grow in mind, spirit and body.
