2024-2025 School Year Shandon High/Middle School Math Teacher Recruitment Incentive Payment, $4,000, Paid in September 2024 Attractive Health Benefit Packages We are looking for a self directed teacher with a passion for middle school math students who wants to join our small, supportive school community. This position serves a smaller district in eastern San Luis Obispo County (district enrollment approximately 300). The classroom has a promethean board for instruction and student engagement, chromebooks and other instructional technology. Shandon is a rural community just east of Paso Robles. The Paso Robles area features a vibrant wine industry, nearby beaches (30 minutes away) cattle ranching, live music, parks, and family and outdoor activities, including hiking, horseback riding and other outdoor pursuits. Applicant would be possibly teaching 7th grade Math, 8th grade Math, Pre-algebra, and/or Consumer Math depending on need. Classes are small, never over 25, averaging 16. Classroom is equipped with latest technology including laptops for each student along with technology based curriculum.
