Thomas More Prep-Marian Junior/Senior High School (2A co-ed Catholic school, enrollment 280) is seeking a Social Science teacher. The position is for the high school classes of World History, Contemporary World Issues, and U.S. Government.

The successful candidate will be able to help students synthesize their social science knowledge with other content areas in order to solve real-world problems they would face in college and/or career.

Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor degree in Social Sciences or History and be certified in Kansas. A Master degree is preferred and will command a higher salary, as will teaching experience.

Thomas More Prep-Marian Junior/Senior High School is a Catholic co-educational college preparatory school located in Hays, KS.

Situated in western Kansas, Hays is a regional hub with a population of 25,000, a four-year university, a two-year technical college, and numerous arts and entertainment opportunities.

TMP-Marian dates back to 1908 and has been a co-educational high school since 1981. The school added grades 7 & 8 in 2012 and 6th grade in 2023. The school provides a traditionally strong Catholic education to day, resident, and international students and holds high standards of student performance in and out of the classroom.

Varsity sports are available for both genders in every competition season. Included are football, cross-country, volleyball, golf (HS), basketball, wrestling, track, baseball (HS) and softball (HS).
