High School Resource Room Teacher

Position: 1.0 High School Resource Room Teacher

Qualifications:

State of MI teacher certificate with an endorsement in special education.

Learning Disabilities Endorsement preferred.

Experience with high school students preferred.

Ability to facilitate an IEP and complete necessary paperwork.

Willingness to work as part of a team of professionals.

Possess an understanding of the state and federal special education rules and regulations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.

Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment and build strong relationships with students and parents.
