High School Pe/Strength And Conditioning Teacher

Qualifications: To be considered, the applicant must be licensed in Physical Education and Health Education, covering grades 9-12. A strong background in strength and conditioning is preferred.

Overview of the Position: Mt. Vernon High School seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, knowledgeable, and team-oriented professional to fill a physical education position in the weight room.

Requirements and Qualifications: The applicant must be able to deliver quality instruction, effectively assess student learning, and provide additional support and/or enrichment when appropriate. The applicant must demonstrate excellent communication skills with all stakeholders, display effective organizational and planning skills, display excellent classroom management, and use technology to benefit student learning. The candidate must also implement and maintain safety standards in the classroom. Candidates must be fluid in Indiana physical education and health standards (grades 9-12) and have a strong background in strength and conditioning.
