High School Math Teacher

Position: Archbold High School Math Teacher Qualifications:

• Valid State Department of Education licensure/certificate

Ideal candidate would demonstrate the following:

• Prepares instructional materials. Teaches assigned classes as scheduled.

• Develops/implements lesson plans aligned with state standards and district curriculum goals.

• Provides opportunities for all students to participate in an inclusive educational environment.

• Creative and student-centered.

• Evaluates student academic needs/learning styles. Identifies opportunities to enhance learning.

• Has a passion and desire to teach the student body at Archbold Schools.

• Uses formal/informal assessment strategies to monitor student progress.

• Provides effective detailed feedback to students using formative/summative assessments.

• Uses a data-driven approach to analyze assessments and alter/enhance lesson plans.

• Facilitates student-learning activities that encourage teamwork and positive peer relationships.
