High School History Teacher

History/Social Studies teacher grade11 US History, Civics and Government

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university; Master's Degree preferred.
2.Maintains a valid Massachusetts teacher certification, which is grade level and subject area appropriate for the particular assignment per regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Education.
3.A proven ability to work in a polite and friendly manner with many different publics.
4.Must possess a sense of professionalism and good nature.
5.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Department may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Building Principal and/or Department Chair as appropriate.

SUPERVISES: Assigned students and any assigned paraprofessionals as appropriate.

1-3 years experience
Curriculum knowledge and experience in teacher US History, Civics and Governemnt
Experience using online educational resources like G Suite for Education (Google Apps), Gale Databases, Listenwise and/or Newsela
