Summer 2024 High School Bootcamp will be held on August 28th from 8:00-3:30pm at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay, WI.
HSHS High School Boot Camp is an opportunity for high school students to generate an awareness and interest in the different health care careers. This opportunity will engage participants interested in health careers by learning and interacting with health care professionals from HSHS. Participants will learn how health care teams work together to provide the best patient care for our patients/community and will have opportunities to meet and speak with health staff from different departments to learn what a day in healthcare might mean.
Objectives:
Connect with healthcare professionals
Gain exposure to health career opportunities
Learn academic paths for health careers

Job Shadow Opportunities may include (depending on the location): Radiology, OB Nursing, Emergency, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Lab, Medical/Surgical Inpatient Nursing, Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics, Surgery, Surgical Tech, Endoscopy, Sterile Processing, Cath Lab

Qualifications
Must be entering Junior/Senior Year/ or Recent Graduate from High School
Must be able to submit job shadow health requirements (immunization records for MMR, Varicella, TB Questionnaire) -if selected for event, requirements will be provided to you via e-mail
We do not require a COVID-19 Vaccine to attend this event
