High School Assistant Principal - Leave Replacement

EFFECTIVE: August 27, 2024 - November 19, 2024

QUALIFICATIONS:

• NJ Principal Certificate or eligibility;

• Master's Degree in Educational Administration, Leadership, or a related field from an accredited institution;

• Three (3) years of experience preferred in an administrative role, preferably as a principal or vice-principal, within a diverse and high-achieving school setting;

• Exceptional ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;

• Strong interpersonal skills with the aptitude to foster a positive working relationship among all stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and the community;

• Proven experience in creating and maintaining a collaborative educational environment;

• An understanding of curriculum development, career and technical education, assessment practices, and strategies for raising academic standards;

• Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing strategies that promote a safe, orderly, and inclusive school climate;

• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

SALARY: $450.00 per day

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 week leave replacement
