High Reach Forklift Operator

Lineage Allentown is currently seeking a High Reach Forklift Operator to join our team and play a crucial part in our day-to-day operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have prior high reach forklift experience, this could be the perfect fit for you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Elevate Efficiency: Utilize your High Reach Forklift expertise to seamlessly put away palletized units into racks above floor height, ensuring optimal use of space.

• Precision Handling: Skillfully pick palletized units from elevated rack locations, preparing them for outbound shipment with precision and care.

• Tech-Savvy Management: Using our Radio Frequency (RF) System, record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items.

• Master of Movement: Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device

• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet

• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Team Collaboration: Work alongside other machinery and material handling equipment experts, fostering a collaborative environment for share success.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Basic math skills

• Prior High Reach Forklift Experience

• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics

• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10 Fahrenheit/-15 Celsius in cold storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility

• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed

• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
