BAYADA Home Health Care Hospice is currently seeking experienced Licensed, Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to work with hospice clients in homes and facilities in Gloucester, Salem and Cumberland counties.

Office is located in Woodbury, NJ.

HOURS AVAILABLE:

  • Full time days-8:30am-5pm and weekends

As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary hospice health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care they need.

Each Home Health Aide must:

  • Have at least one year of work experience as a Home Health Aide

  • Have successfully completed a recognized Home Health Aide training course and be certified to work as a Home Health Aide

  • Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English

  • Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination

  • Have a criminal background check completed

  • Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities for HHA - Home Health Aides:

  • Activities of daily living

  • Bathing

  • Grooming

  • Toileting

  • Nail care

  • Range of motion / exercises

  • Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices

  • Oral feeding

  • Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

  • Assisting with ambulation

  • Medication assistance

This office services clients in Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem county. This individual will be a member of an experienced hospice care team that provides assessments, education and symptom management related to end of life care. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Spiritual Counselor in hospice or palliative care and will be responsible for developing and adhering to the client's spiritual care plan. Bilingual is a plus.
