HFC - Beloit Plant Quality Control Auditor - 2Nd Shift Shift

Successful candidates will work in our food processing production facility located in Beloit, WI and enjoy competitive wages along with a competitive benefits package. The current vacancy is on 2nd Shift with opportunities for overtime, including weekends. Hormel Foods Beloit Plant produces a variety of canning products, including Hormel Chili, Mary's Kitchen Hash, and Chi-Chi's Salsa.

Primary Duties:

• Conducts the following audits & inspections and completes associated paperwork.

• Label Verification, Random On-Line Quality & Specification Audits, Weight Control, Housekeeping, Monthly GMP Audit, and Other Tasks As Assigned By Management.

• Monitors and make sure all Food Safety & Good Manufacturing Procedures are being followed.

• Perform Pre- Op Inspections

Additional Duties

• Cover Vacation for all QC positions on 1st and 2nd shift.

• Assist sanitation crew as needed

• Perform projects as assigned by QC Manager

Requirements for this position:

• Able to work weekends as required when production is running.

• Must be able to work the primary schedule each week with the flexibility to work additional days as required. Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays and Sundays during our busy season from August - March.

Preferred Experience

• Prior Food Manufacturing Experience

• Basic Computer Skills

• Basic Math Skills
