Path Medical is seeking a Full-time Help Desk Technician Tier 1 to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technical support when phone support is not able to resolve an issue.

  • Installs and supports OS, applications for PCs, laptops and mobile devices

  • Experience creating, removing, updating Active Directory (AD) users and groups

  • Basic network command knowledge to be able to troubleshoot internet / connectivity issues

  • Able to login to a printer web interface using the printer IP and an internet browser

  • Installs and supports Printers, Scanners and the applications used by those devices to conduct day to day operations.

  • Provides technical, functional and application guidance and support to personnel.

  • Assists the department users with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

  • Sets up and configures new machines as required.

  • Configures and manages remote access technologies for users

  • Ensures protected health information is secured at all times.

  • Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment.

  • Some Traveling to multiple Sites are required

  • Provide excellent customer service.

  • Abide by HIPAA laws regarding personal medical information (PHI).

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Computers Science or Equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3 + years of windows desktop support experience.

  • A+, N+, Certifications preferred but not required

  • Must be willing to travel to multiple sites.

This position will require heavy traveling throughout the Florida Market. Responsibilities and Qualifications Provide end user support and software, hardware and network assistance. Relies on experience and judgment as well as pre-established Policies, Processes and Procedures to identify, research and resolve technical problems presented through Level I, II and III IT Help Desk tickets. Documents, tracks and monitors Incidents and Service Requests to ensure a timely resolution. Communicates effectively with team and dealership personnel. * Partner and communicate with store/location managers to ensure all current and future IT needs are met * Provide friendly, efficient Helpdesk Call Center Support * Triage Level II and Level III Incident and Service Request tickets * Troubleshoot and resolve Incident tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, and the network * Resolve Level l Incident and Service Request tickets * Validate with internal customers that the Incident or Service Request has been resolved and update the ticketing system * Perform or oversee on-site purchasing installation, repair, and maintenance of all end user IT Equipment * Interface with Director, IT Infrastructure and Security to inventory and maintain IT Network Equipment Depot where applicable * Assist Engineering Team with Network switch and connectivity Incidents or Service Requests (Smart Hands) * Interface effectively with IT infrastructure, security, applications management, database and governance personnel * Obtain a strong knowledge of IT Security Policies, Processes, and Procedures * Adhere to and execute IT Security Policies, Processes, and Procedures * Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned dealerships/locations and develop a deep understanding of the locations' facility layout and access, IT infrastructure, management structure, and business workflow * Write and update knowledge based articles * Actively contribute to IT Continual Service Improvement efforts * Ability to complete multiple simultaneous project and support tasks in a timely manner * Perform other duties or special projects as assigned * Strong communication, time management, organization, interpersonal skills * Strong analytical, problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills * Document, track, and monitor Incidents and Service Requests to ensure a timely resolution * Communicate effectively with team and dealership personnel * Maintain impeccable integrity * Must be a team player, treat everyone with respect, and demand continuous improvement * 2+ Years customer support/help desk experience * Working knowledge of MS operating systems and applications * Cisco Call Manager experience a plus * Automotive Software experience a plus * Must be at least eighteen years of age * Must have a valid driver's license and meet company MVR policy requirements * Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test) Total Rewards In order for you to be your best for our customers, you have to be healthy, financially-secure and continue to develop your skills and expand your knowledge.
