Job Description Job Description The Charlton Group is seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist for a Hybrid-Remote position with hours from 8am-4pm EST in Quincy, Massachusetts. You’ll be supporting a remote workforce by spending two days a week in the office and three days from your home office.

In addition, you’ll be assisting System Administrators in maintaining the efficiency and optimal performance of various hardware and software systems and applications. This role is perfect for someone who has mid-level IT experience looking for growth opportunities. Joining our team in a technical capacity you’ll be supporting Windows desktops, Microsoft Office, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), cloud-based phone systems, and custom business applications. You’ll be exposed to security operations, technical projects, software deployments, and learn within a very dynamic environment. Work independently providing end-user technical assistance. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues. Troubleshooting home office networks (internet connectivity) Use remote control software to remotely diagnose end-user issues.

Supporting Microsoft Windows primarily with some Apple OS support. Setup and configure desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals. Perform software installs and updates.

Maintain asset management tracking system. Support user account administration (AD and Azure AD) Microsoft Office 365 & other 3rd party desktop applications End-user VPN support End-user VoIP support Training incoming staff on using computer systems. Qualifications: Successful candidates will have a minimum 3 consecutive year’s hands-on experience in User Services supporting desktop computers. 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Cloud-based phone systems, Microsoft Autopilot, InTune, desktop hardware, and security products.

The work environments require you to have exceptional communication and organizational skills with the ability to deal effectively with fast-paced environments. Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields Ability to use time effectively and productively. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues.

Ability to build rapport with clients. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Positive and professional demeanor.

Willing to travel into the office. Ability to lift objects of 30 lbs. or more. Flexibility to work after hours.

Reliable transportation is required for this position. Highly organized and detail oriented for notes on Helpdesk tickets. Excellent oral communication skills Candidates must be US Citizens.
