Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide helpdesk support for Computers, Mobile devices, Network access, and Corporate Business Applications
Management of your own helpdesk tickets including follow ups and resolution as needed
Handling of incoming technical support requests from in-house users. Escalate support tasks as needed to other IT staff.
Work with IT staff as needed on a variety of short term and long term projects
Purchase, install, and maintain computer hardware, software, peripherals, and mobile devices. Serve as the primary contact for resolution of hardware and software issues
Proactive monitoring, management, updating and replacement of desktop hardware and software
Test new hardware and software to assess functionality, applicability as a business solution and conformance with corporate technical and operational standards
Provide technical training to end users
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science OR 3-5 years' work experience in an IT Support role required
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with a strong attention to detail
Advanced knowledge of Windows OS environments, including W7, W10
Strong knowledge of Outlook, and Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016 required
Working knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP, subnets, O365, Lync
Understanding of Problem and Change management systems and processes
Ability to handle multiple tasks and determine priorities effectively
Work with local IT person to provide Business Continuity in cases of emergencies
A+, MCP, MCSE or comparable certification preferred
