Help Desk Specialist (Job Number:440796)



  • Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.

  • Diagnoses, identifies, isolates, and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records.

  • May route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists.

  • Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.

  • Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.

Our technical staff is divided into teams so you’re able to work together on issues and get help whenever you need it.</p><p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p><p>As a Help Desk member, you'll be responsible for maintaining client satisfaction through the effective dispatch of service tickets and by providing initial help desk support. Your day-to-day activities will include answering incoming phone calls, monitoring service boards to triage tickets, and troubleshooting technical issues.</p><p>While most of our clients are based in Austin, we do have some client locations in San Antonio and plan to have more in the future. You’ll be responsible for taking care of any onsite work required in San Antonio and performing remote work to support Austin-based locations.
