Type: Contract position

Duration: 3-6 mos Possibly extended

Availability to Start: Immediately

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; availability to be on-call during evening/weekend hours approx.. 1 week per month (typically 2-4 OT hours during on-call timeframe)

Job Requirements

Customer-service oriented and proactive

Strong technical and troubleshooting skills

Experience with providing Tier 1 technical support (via phone or remote support), including triage and troubleshooting of issues/service requests related to hardware, software, network access/connectivity, printers and audio/visual teleconferencing equipment

Experienced with performing software installs / uninstalls

Ability to accurately document status and resolution on IT help tickets and escalate to 2nd and 3rd level support personnel as needed

Troubleshooting knowledge of Microsoft Windows v.7, Windows v. 10, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft O365 Office suite

Prior experience with: Bomgar, Service Now, Apple/Android mobile device support, SCCM, Skype for Business, OpenText Livelink, SharePoint, SAP, IFS and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS workspaces) would be a plus

Ability to accurately document status and resolution on IT help tickets and escalate to 2nd and 3rd level support personnel as needed

Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical individuals

Takes ownership of customer issues and ensures they are resolved in a timely manner

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Positive attitude and ability to work as a team

Certifications: AA. (or equivalent), A++, Microsoft Professional (MCP) preferred

Experience: 2-3 years of industry experience.
