Help Desk Manager
Ferrum College seeks qualified applicants for the position of Help Desk Manager.
The successful candidate will provide oversight of the Ferrum College Help Desk and the student employees. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, hiring training, supervising and evaluating all Help Desk personnel.
Will ensure the professional collection, recording and resolution where applicable, of technology issues affecting students, faculty and staff at Ferrum College. Will provide support and inventory control for the cable television converters and cable modems for users. Provide written/oral reports as requested.
Must be able to work closely with students, faculty and staff and be a team player exhibiting organizational skills with keen attention to details. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.
Prior supervisory experience preferred. A+ or other hardware/software certification and IT management experience is preferred. Good familiarity of Microsoft Office Suite.
