Provide initial help desk and desk side support to our internal users.
This position works in a team with other System Support Analysts to triage and coordinate tickets with other members of the department to ensure that internal users have their needs met.
Provide hardware and software support for laptop and desktop computers, printers and scanners.
Provide support for small office & home office networks including routers, switches and firewalls
Provide new computer purchasing and setup support as well as cleanup and rebuild support for older computer equipment.
Support for Windows 7 and Windows 10 (ability to support Mac OS is a plus)
Software support for Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and some proprietary in-house software
Ability to support box.com cloud storage using Box Drive or Box Sync (similar experience with other solutions like Dropbox is acceptable)
Anti-Virus & Malware support including prevention, diagnosis and removal.
Assist in moves, adds and changes in the Voice over IP (VoIP) phone system
Email set up and shutdown
Support for Microsoft Outlook 2010 and newer
Spam and phishing end user education
End user account administration (e.g. moves, adds and changes in Active Directory and Okta)
iPhone and Android phone support
Assist in the analysis of existing systems and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the network and systems.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
College degree (preferred with a degree in the field of computer science)
3 - 5 years of help desk support.
