Location: West Los Angeles

Target salary: 65,000 with perks!

Help Desk Analyst

You can do it all. You're a tech savvy Help Desk Analyst that can roll up your sleeves and are familiar working with windows.

You walk a client rsquo;s walk, and you talk their talk. You understand their concerns better then they do and use them to intuitively identify the highly complex requirements of each project. Your steady hand on the pulse of the client's needs influences functional design, process design, testing, as well as training and supporting implementation teams. You seamlessly transition between the business world and the development team and are integral in creating the product that exceeds expectations.

Job Requirements

What we need:

2+ years in IT Help Desk Support nbsp;

Knowledge of commonly-used IT concepts, practices and procedures required. nbsp;

Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 7/8.1/10, and MAC OS desktop environments

Proficiency in MS Office, Internet Explorer and experience supporting email clients

TCP/IP networking

Managing and coordinating equipment repairs

Microsoft Active Directory environment

We are looking for candidates who have a positive attitude, are detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task. Typical responsibilities include: * Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required. * Staff a centralized help desk to act as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data and facilitate exchange of information and advice; implement solutions and work with outsource providers as required. * Ensure prompt resolution of equipment issues through efficient troubleshooting, thorough product knowledge, and proper escalation and communication. * Work closely with internal IT teams, hospital management and hospital operations staff to assess needs and deliver the required support. * Make hardware and software acquisition recommendations including helping users assess needs and providing justification for equipment and services. * Assist in instructing staff in the use of standard business and administrative software, including word processing, spreadsheets and database management; provide instruction or written documentation where required. * Assist with the planning, design, research and acquisition of new or upgraded hardware and software systems; maintain current knowledge of hardware, software and network technology and recommend modifications as necessary. * Configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages; may modify specific applications for use in operational departments. * Install, assemble and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware. * Carry out equipment installations at multiple locations, following established procedures to deliver consistent reliable end-user work environments. * Perform other duties of a similar nature or level. * Provide after-hours support as part of the teams on call rotation schedule. Required Skills: * B.S. in computer science or related field and/or experience in lieu of degree. * 5-7 years experience providing hands-on and remote support for PC desktops and laptops. * STRONG knowledge in the area of PC hardware and components such as desktops, laptops, thin clients, and printers to include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC desktop and laptop hardware and software. * Experience must include supporting Windows 7 and 10; MS Office 2010 and O365 at a tier 2 level or higher. * Experience troubleshooting connectivity issues, and conducting/troubleshooting system diagnostics a must. * Experience developing and deploying PC images and application packages. * Experience using, managing and troubleshooting remote connectivity and deployment products. * Experience using and managing a service desk ticketing system. * Demonstrated ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment with effective multi-tasking skills and complete follow through. * Must be energetic, highly motivated, and flexible. * Excellent interpersonal, communication and written documentation skills. * Must be able to communicate technical information to non-technical users. Desired Skills: * Experience Service Now or similar incident tracking system. * Experience creating and deploying images using Symantec Ghost or similar imaging software. * Experience providing digital radiography support in a health care environment. * Experience with a health care practice management system.
