As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be a creative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. Located in Spring Hill, Tennessee, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a long term temporary-to-fulltime role. What you get to do every single day

  • Offer IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally

  • Spot recurring technical issues and deploy solutions to address the root of the problems

  • Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues

  • Answer and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups

Requirements

  • Firm grasp of basic networking concepts

  • Working knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment

  • Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

  • Good understanding of IT support ticketing systems

  • 2+ years of prior experience

  • Active Directory experience

  • Expertise in VOIP (voice over IP) - Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 Position Description The WMS Control Room Analyst is dedicated to an assigned area of responsibility within an account or location. The Analyst ensures that productivity and operational goals are met in order to deliver customer satisfaction. Individual will be working in a dynamic environment that focuses on delivering continuous measurable improvement to the customer. * Work with GM's WMS Control Room Lead and Ryder Senior WMS Analyst to manage part attribute and location guide updates, and ensure WMS is configured correctly. * Monitor, manage and/or address WMS Control Room alerts such as last container picked, part below min, system generated cycle counts, etc. * Troubleshoot receiving and inventory discrepancies to ensure proper material flow is maintained in an expedient manner. * Ability to solve complex inventory accuracy issues and work in a high pace and challenging manufacturing environment. * Support Quality Team with initiating inventory recall from their location(s) as well as assigning lock codes as needed. * Previous experience with Ryder/GM systems such as LCM, MGO, Min Tracker a plus. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and SQL applications. Requirements * High School diploma or GED equivalent required * Experience with DOT, OSHA, and all related safety regulations required * Minimum of 6 (six) months supervisory experience required ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: * 1-3 Years of experience in a transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred * Knowledge/Experience in transportation environment, (i.e.: Shipping, receiving and inventory management, distribution or dispatch preferred.) * Knowledge of warehouse and or software applications, routing and dispatch software systems preferred Responsibilities * Performance management of direct reports.
