The analyst will independently resolve most low complexity support issues for Abila MIP Fund Accounting environments, databases, and applications supported by Abila products and services such as Microsoft Windows OS, Citrix, Microsoft Office, SQL, and Pervasive (as applicable by product). Collaborate with other analysts as necessary to resolve issues

Document troubleshooting steps recommended for each support incident in a clear, concise, and efficient format

Collaborate with customers to appropriately identify additional Abila product service solutions that help solve business needs

Achieve individual goals while contributing toward departmental goals for quality, issue resolution, productivity, and schedule adherence

Communicate effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced team environment Share the voice of the customer through appropriate channels to ensure all parts of the organization benefit have the actionable information needed to drive business decisions

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an extraordinary customer experience

Effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner

A minimum of 6 to12 months prior experience preferred in a customer-facing or knowledge delivery role (additional technical requirements determined by business unit)

High School Diploma required College Degree preferred

Domain/industry knowledge related to the specific Abila product or service being supported may be required.

Specific educational and/or experience requirements to demonstrate such knowledge are determined by the business unit.

Prior experience with recent Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems required and prior work related experience preferred.

Adherence to assigned schedule for managing cases thru multiple channels

Ability to work in a logical flow to isolate causes of problems and determine potential solutions

Confident ability to restate or rephrase questions to verify consistent comprehension of a problem

Ability to effectively prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Ability to quickly connect with people, establish a rapport, express empathy and project confidence

Prior experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Special Requirements:
Ability to sit for regular and long periods of time (optional alternative of standing)

Ability to use arms, hands and fingers Ability to apply long hours of keyboarding

Ability to hear and talk as well as to see data and adjust visual focus for computer and paper tasks

VIEW JOBS 11/9/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-07T00:00 Business Summary: The Deal Desk team is responsible for supporting ELA (Enterprise License Agreements) through standard flow process, from opportunity to booking stages in partnership with the account team. The Standard Workflow, managed by our team, supports established ELA Structures & the application of a Deal Desk playbook to solve more complex ELA transactions from inception to booking. Deal Desk reviews all Commercial, Business, Legal & Revenue requirements, to support the Field in achieving the most favorable ELA construct for VMware, while delivering the most optimal customer solution. Job Roles & Responsibilities: You will have ultimate responsibility for the day to day support of the AMER sales team in ELA & SPF transactions, and reports directly into the Manager for AMER Deal Desk. You'll also frequently involves participation in cross functional teams and projects. Core Responsibilities * Ensure efficient execution of deals through standard flow process on an ongoing basis. Anticipate and align to support account teams business needs on a quarterly and annual basis. * Continuous review of deal progression and collaboration with colleagues to ensure optimal deal cycle times and flawless execution. * You will build and maintain strong rapport and serve as key liaison & escalation point for AMER management Team on ELA and deal related topics. * Review Sales-proposed quotes, provide feedback and coaching, ensure compliance with published sales and business policies, and approve or reject/escalate quotes as needed based on policy and business judgement * Own and manage the contract drafting process, generating standard documents and working with Legal and Finance to help Sales respond to customer feedback, including managing 'redline' changes leading up to customer acceptance * Validate customer purchase orders for approved Enterprise License Agreement quote documentation, prepare order entry documents & associated approval documentation packages to expedite order management processes * Partner closely with IB, Legal, Deal Assurance/Revenue & DCT, Order management, Business Operations and Field Finance teams * Ensure close collaboration with Operations and Finance leads on deal status/progression, forecast accuracy etc. * Participation and/or leadership of various internal projects related to core function. Being the 'voice of AMER' and 'sales advocate' on such project teams is essential to ensuring the solution solves relevant business issues Required Skills: * Previous Tech Industry, Deal Desk, Finance, Operations experience essential * Proven track record in process optimization and ability to deliver results in challenging business environment * A self-starter, highly analytical, with sound decision-making skills * Ability to prioritize at times of high volume and stress e.g. Quarter-End. * Strong communication and positive interpersonal skills. * Have the ability to influence and work collaboratively at all levels of the organization. Be comfortable advising senior sales management on key deals to support their business. * Primary degree in commerce, business studies, finance or equivalent. * Experience with software revenue recognition principles (SOP 97-2) is an advantage * Intermediate MS Excel skills * Travel (including international) may be required Desired Skills: * Advanced MS Excel skills (macros and pivot tables preferred) * Salesforce and Tableau experience highly advantageous Vmware, Inc.
