We are looking for a Program Manager

The Role

We are looking for an exceptional individual to support our team as they transition into agile ways of working. This person is responsible for coordinating and scheduling team ceremonies, coaching team members on agile methodology techniques and practices, tracking and reporting scrum team status to stakeholders and leadership, and resolving impediments to the success of the teams' projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish yourself as a welcomed and trusted advisor on agile transformation to managers, scrum masters, product owners, developers and other stakeholders

  • Coaches and referees agile teams to ensure Agile Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority and willing to make the tough calls

  • Garners respect from team and is willing to get hands dirty to get the job done

  • Supports Product Owners with backlog maintenance, backlog prioritization, and user story refinement process to deliver highest business value

  • Uses metrics to help the team improve, become more efficient, and to set goals

  • Facilitates sprint planning and sizing, daily scrum, refinement, retrospective, sprint review events and supports continuous improvement efforts

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency in asking for management support to help remove impediments that the team cannot solve on their own

  • Manages external dependencies the team must deal with as identified

  • Tracks & reports team progress leveraging appropriate Agile metrics

  • Implements program level transparency, metrics, and other data that instills accountability measures within team

Organizational structure

Reports to: Sr. Director NA e-Commerce

Location: Denver metro area

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years of experience with Bachelors degree

  • Certified Scrum Master strongly preferred

  • Passion for the outdoors

  • Expert knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution

  • Strong organizational skills to increase productivity and efficiency while managing multiple projects

  • Understanding of front-end / back-end development process steps (from design to delivery)

  • An Agile champion to guide one or more teams in adoption of Agile/Scrum/SAFe principles

  • Ability to develop and use historical data to help team learn and improve their process and practices

This position is a full-time employment at Helly Hansen US. Salary range will be $90,000 to $110,000 base.
