Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand HEDIS Medical Record Review (MRR) data requirements from point of abstraction, data result coding, MRR data integration, scoring of measure results against administrative data and NCQA guidelines on medical record data use for reporting, and final data results on IDSS.xml files and PLD

  • Read, and write SQL code with knowledge of inner and outer joins, table and view properties, and ability to review and understand a data dictionary as it relates to a database environment

Understand Supplemental data concepts for HEDIS and how it impacts MRR process and rules for converting MRR data into future administrative data source for data runs

  • Provide guidance to clients on MRR data issues and MRR data questions and set up data tollgates / controls

  • Provide strategic support in preparation of the HEDIS Roadmap, HOQ, HEDIS audit, and Primary Source Verification

  • Perform additional duties as required / assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 equivalent years of experience

  • 3 years of experience in Medical Record Review (MRR) projects at a vendor level and/or health plan organization level

  • 3 years of current HEDIS experience, performing a wide range of functions with strong focus on data analysis and reporting

  • 3 years of writing SQL code

  • Knowledge of CMS Star Rating programs impacted by MRR data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience working in a matrix environment

  • 3 years of working with final submission files to NCQA, CMS, California P4P, NY QARR, and/or other state submissions

  • Knowledge of Medicaid and/or Medicare programs

  • Familiarity with ICD-9-CM / ICD-10-CM, CPT, DRG, LOINC, HCPCS, TOB, POS, NDC coding

Primary Responsibilities: * Define requirements, design, build / configure, and test QNXT to support a Payer's health plan. * Implement system configuration changes, focusing on process efficiencies that support organizational initiatives and projects * Collaborate with business operations and staff to define integration management best practices. Develop and manage the systems integration life-cycle project/program plans * Provide full life cycle support for code changes in the production environment and development of new extensions to existing platform * Maintain a high proficiency level with system architecture and database model. * Lead the overall delivery of projects including the direct management of project team members. Perform project management duties including the creation of status reports, work plans and presentations to client leadership * Review and approve developer detail design documents, data structure diagrams and code assets * Ensure quality assurance by directing unit test activities including the development of test cases and publication of unit test results * Develop financial models and tools, including cost-benefit analysis, resource utilization models and performance reports * Must have experience defining requirements and building with the latest version of QNXT's Enterprise Core Administration System and have technical expertise in the following areas: accounts receivable, utilization management, providers, membership, finance, dental claims, medical claims, case management and capitation. * Knowledge of health plan rules and regulations and related code and data sets, etc. * Prior experience working in Health plan setup with Provider, Provider affiliations, Benefit creation etc. Exceptional Customer Service Orientation and ability to build a nimble and responsive application development solution. Demonstrated ability to work as a business partner with all levels and functional areas of the organization Strong analytical thinker with innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to trouble shoot challenging data centric problems Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and be able to communicate effectively with various teams. Define application technology strategy and architecture to ensure alignment with industry standards, roadmap, and business needs. Research emerging technologies and solutions to solve complex business problems. Propose and maintain reference architecture.
