We are seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy truck maintenance and repair, with a focus on diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on heavy trucks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy trucks.

• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.

• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues.

• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Truck Mechanic or similar role.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.

• Welding experience

• Strong knowledge of heavy truck systems and components.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

• Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Possess a valid and clear driver's license, CDL a plus

• Reliable transportation to and from work

• Be in good physical condition

• Ability and willingness to travel overnight to an outlying area, and will work at the Phoenix shop when not traveling.

• Can work in a high-pressure environment and maintain a professional and positive attitude.

• Able to work under time restraints and understand the urgency to place equipment back in production

• Ability and willingness to work nights and overtime when needed

• Required tools to perform the job efficiently and with little to no supervision
