Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, modify and maintain a variety of heavy mobile equipment, such as: construction, industrial, combat, tactical, and powered support equipment.

  • Remove and replace major systems or components of equipment to include power packs, transmissions, transfers, gear reduction units, injector pumps, air conditioners, fuel pumps and alternators.

  • Make idle speed, current, brake, and transmission linkage adjustments.

  • Perform initial and in-process inspections; perform mechanical diagnostics and troubleshoot to localize defects and determine cause of malfunction; perform mechanical maintenance on defective parts; and perform minor body work.

  • Provide technical assistance to unit personnel.

  • Operate motor vehicles to perform the duties of this position.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Heavy Mobile Equipment Repairer~ without more than normal supervision. To meet the screen out element, applicants should document experience or show the ability to do the following: troubleshoot, maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment to include performance of preventative maintenance checks and services; repair, replace, install, or make adjustments to mobile equipment components and parts; and conduct various operational tests to perform final inspection. Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

Physical Effort Required: You may be required to work in tiring or uncomfortable positions for long periods. Work frequently requires climbing on top of equipment or crawling under equipment to work on the various components. You will frequently have to bend, reach, stretch and crouch. Work is strenuous, often requiring the lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 40 pounds. You will also push, pull, and turn heavy parts and equipment. You will move heavier items with assistance of other workers.

Working Conditions: Work inside and outside where you will be exposed to drafts, dirt, grease and vehicle fumes. You will be exposed to some inclement weather such as rain, snow, cold, and freezing temperatures; and may be required to work in mud and wet or icy areas when outdoors. Subject to burns, scrapes, cuts, bruises, shocks and strains.

JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY: Coordinate and manage loan/ lease transactional closings supporting the Equipment Finance specialty lines of business ( Direct Equipment Finance and Leasing, Capital Markets, Municipal Leases and Bonds), working with Equipment Finance specialty Relationship Managers ("RMs"), Bank RMs, Customers, Equipment vendors, Insurance agents, Outside counsel, Corporate Documentation and Lending Services, and Credit and Portfolio Management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Intake, submission and processing of documentation requests from WEF RMs * Review credit approval memorandum and establish transaction workflow to perfect equipment collateral * Follow WEF lien perfection procedures to determine and appropriate security interest method * Search and clear as necessary, UCC filings covering subject transactions * File appropriate UCC security interest * Review equipment invoices to determine vesting of ownership in subject equipment * Review Borrower/Lessee corporate documentation to determine correct legal names * Review title registrations to assure proper ownership and lienholder * Review appropriateness of insurance, including lender/lessor interest * Review pay/proceeds instructions from borrower/lessee * As appropriate prepare/review wire request per WEF procedures * Create document checklist/specifications for submission to Corporate Documentation and/or outside counsel * Complete daily activities for the operations area * Assist with Collateral and Documentation Exception Clearing * Provide superior customer service to both internal and external clients * Follow statutory compliance, risk management and internal controls * Complete special projects and other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE: * Bachelor's Degree required * 5 years of experience in Equipment Leasing & Finance ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS: * Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines * Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions * Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions * Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions * Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
