This position requires the assembling of parts according to instructions and within a specific time frame, while using the appropriate tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards, as well as carrying out any other duties as directed by the Lead man or Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately perform the General Assembly and Wiring portion of the Press Brake Assembly process.
Train other employees how to perform the Sub Assembly and Ship Prep portion of the Press Brake Assembly.
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Maintain a clean and safe work area specified time frame.
Performed adjustments needed to ensure factory settings and specifications using schematics and/or engineering documentation.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
May be required to climb using a safety harness or ladder up to 16' feet tall.
May be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
Supporting company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, ISO policies and good manufacturing practices.
Must be able to work unsupervised at times.
Must adhere to all safety policies and wear required PPE.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Regularly lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly

PAY RATE $18.00-$22.00

KNOWLEDGE
Sit Down Forklift and Overhead Crane is preferred.
Be able to read and understand the metric system of measurement.
Must be a good communicator and listener.
Must be able to use Hand and Power Tools.
Must have previous heavy equipment/ machinery assembly experience.
Must know how to work unsupervised.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Must know metric measurements.
