Essential Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment on a surface mine site
Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling repairs
Operate fuel/service truck safely and efficiently
Assist in maintaining inventory of service kits, lubes, oils, and other supplies
Coordinate equipment service activities with production and maintenance team members
Support Mechanics with repairs
Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum one-year experience of heavy equipment maintenance is required
Knowledge of parts and servicing of Cat, Hitachi & Komatsu equipment
Must have valid photo identification
MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal ticket is required; training and support is provided to obtain or update certificates if needed
Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol capability testing
