What you'll own:

  • Operating various heavy equipment models safely and effectively

  • Fastening attachments such as graders, plows and rollers to tractor with hitch pins

  • Maintaining equipment while in operation and report any necessary repairs to the mechanic shop

  • Filling equipment with fuel when needed and grease and clean attachments when in use

  • Operating loader, skid steer, chipper, excavator, dozer, feller-buncher and various other pieces of equipment

  • Operating semi-trucks, water trucks, pumps & hoses

Experience you'll need:

  • Working knowledge of heavy equipment and safe/effective use

  • Working knowledge of maintenance best practices

  • Skilled in working with others

  • Ability to work independently and as a team

  • Ability to prepare daily written reports

  • Ability to plan, create timelines, and execute plans

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred

  • Ability to manage assets, both equipment and labor

Who you are: * Someone who embodies Young Living's core values * A team player who works well with others * Someone who has experience working with horses What you'll own: * Manage and maintain equipment and animals' areas as needed * Manage and handle horses, including grooming, saddling, feeding, cleaning tack, and providing fresh water * Ensure specific feeding schedules and instructions are followed for each horse * Review hay to identify and discard any moldy hay * Monitor horses and identify any health issues including wounds, illnesses, and/or lameness * Assist in implementing programming activities both in and out of the barn * Assist in the maintenance of tack and other equipment * Assist in horse reproduction responsibilities; such as helping with ultrasounds, collecting stallion semen, preparing semen for shipment, helping with Artificial Insemination for mares, and helping in the lab Experience you'll need: * Knowledge of emergency procedures for equestrian accidents/incidents * Knowledge of behavior, feeding, and health of horses * Ability to horseback ride at and lead a walk, trot, canter, and gallop * Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures for working around horses, maintaining a barn, and participating in equine programming * Ability to operate heavy equipment and be forklift certified * Knowledge of horseshoeing Additional information Young Living is an equal opportunity employer.
