Heavy Equipment-Mechanic - San Antonio

Our mechanic will be assigned to a dedicated concrete paving crew and will be with them full time.

• Assembles, sets up, adjusts, maintains and repairs all types of construction equipment

• Inspects and diagnoses machinery to determine need for and cost of repairs

• Tests, installs new or repaired unit back into equi

• Assembles, sets up, adjusts, maintains and repairs all types of construction equipment

• Inspects and diagnoses machinery to determine need for and cost of repairs

• Tests, installs new or repaired unit back into equipments

• Performs minor tune ups to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the equipments

• Understand system controls, operation, and configurations

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two+ years related mechanic experience and/or training

• Mechanic experience slipform pavers, concrete places, and cure/texture machines

• Experience with Gunner & Zimmerman (G&Z) and Gomaco are a huge plus

• Mechanical, welding, and electrical experience preferred

• For safety reasons, it is imperative that the employee be able to read and speak fluent English
