Heavy equipment mechanics adept at conducting diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs to construction and specialized equipment should be aware of a new field mechanic position serving the Lexington area.
This position will allow techs to be dispatched from home to complete repairs in the field with a company vehicle, laptop, cell phone and access to top-notch training on an ongoing basis while receiving support both professionally (training, hotline support, etc.) and personally (competitive wages, benefits, growth plans, etc.). The diesel tech that will excel in this role will be professional, highly organized, skilled, knowledgeable and willing to face customers on a daily basis.
A valid CDL and previous training or certifications on top brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Case, Volvo, Terex and more are highly valued.
$26.00 - $30.00/hour to start. The company offers a competitive benefits program including health, dental & vision. 401K after 6 months. 5 days PTO (paid time off) up to first year of employment and 15 days PTO after one year.
Days, frequent travel and the occasional overnight stay for out of town assignments are a key aspect of this position.
