We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Construction Company located in Buckner, KY. We know that "Lasting construction starts with a solid safety foundation."

Our ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of diesel equipment and the overall mechanics of the machine on which they are working. The person in this role will have the ability troubleshoot, diagnose and fix issues related to heavy equipment (We are a CAT company by the way). You must also be able to pass all required pre-employment screens including a background check with MVR (driving record) and eleven-panel drug screen.

Applicants must also be able to provide reliable daily transportation to and from work where hours are early morning through the afternoon, Monday through Friday (varies slightly by project and season). However, due to the industrial nature of our clients and projects, candidates must be able to work when scheduled overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours. Based on project location, some travel may be necessary.

Here is what we are looking for and need:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems
• Utilizes computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes.
• Replaces and/or refurbishes parts.
• Ensure services provided follow all quality standards and safety procedures.
• Identifies and addresses potential safety hazards.
• Adheres to all safety protocols and regulations.
• T4 Compliance Engines.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Extensive knowledge in Automotive & Diesel Technology
• Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job
• Minimum of one (1) year of diesel mechanic experience required.
