Responsibilities:
Perform minor and major repairs on ready mix truck fleet.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance on ready mix trucks, including inspection, tire
rotation and oil changes.
Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop.
Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.
Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks.
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles Travel to sites and plants
to complete testing procedures, as needed. Occasional distance travel is required.
Ability to follow directions.
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers and supervisors.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in company policies
and procedures manual, and OSHA/MSHA guidelines.
Expected Outcomes:
1.Health and Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to
safety policies in all work environments and areas. Ensures all aspects of his/her role are
executed in a safe manner. Obeys safety guidelines when on construction sites and company
operations.
2.Maintenance and Repairs: Maximize performance of equipment by performing repairs and
ensuring preventative maintenance is completed. Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions or
to ensure that they are working properly. Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or
malfunctions. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes,
lubrications, and tune-ups.
3.Communication: Maintain documentation of vehicle service and repair status.
4.Environment: Establish the environment as a priority in daily activities and act as a steward to
the environment. Demonstrate a commitment to meet or exceed environmental compliance.
5.Customer Focus: Ensure good customer relations. Must be able to communicate effectively
with customers and company personnel.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required or GED equivalent.
3+ years of related experience preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
ASE Diesel Certification preferred.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is exposed to airborne particles. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
