We are currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team!

Position Overview:

Support compliance services/operations in all aspects of the business. The Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, assisting in refurbishing and repairing all spill response and marine related equipment. Must be able to be on-call as needed for emergency response, land service and maritime contracts or projects, within DOT requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execution of fieldwork encompassed in marine services, industrial cleaning, emergency spill response and site cleanup projects while under supervision.

  • Diagnose and repair all marine related equipment.

  • Safely operate various marine equipment as needed Diesel power packs skimmers, small/large vessels currently in fleet.

  • Manage and input information to preventive maintenance schedule for NRC response equipment.

  • Perform confined space work inside tanks of varying dimensions; involving squatting and crawling for possible extended periods.

  • Understand and comply with company and client safety standards.

  • Perform heavy lifting and carrying (up to 75 pounds); use of hand tools, power tools, bending, stooping, shoveling and other physically demanding tasks daily.

  • Follow all purchasing guidelines and obtain multiple quotes when obtaining outside services.

  • Setup and deploy various equipment during trainings and actual responses.

  • Responsible for DOT semi-trailers and cargo trailers.

  • Input information into NRC computer maintenance program (GOS).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Requires High School or GED (equivalent reading, writing and reasoning skills).

  • 3-5 years of experience performing directly related work (diesel engine, pumps, hydraulic, marine repair, emergency response, general construction, industrial cleaning).

  • Ability to travel up to 75% for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to complete the 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, 48-hour MTR certification, 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher certificates and any/all other related training that may be required.

  • Maintain an MVR that meets company policy standards. Must have own tools.

  • Ability to work under a compressed time schedule to repair equipment as needed.

  • Comprehension of common danger placards/labels and hazardous warning literature, including safety plans.

  • Ability to perform work under sustained hours, uncomfortable weather conditions and rough terrain.

  • Must be clean shaven to allow for immediate donning of respirator and not wear jewelry that may be of safety concern (earrings, bracelets etc.) and impede in safe operation of equipment.

Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards.

We are currently seeking a Cash Applications Specialist to join our growing team! Position Overview: Performs all related accounting functions related to the accurate posting of A/R Cash Receipts, including the investigation and documentation of all short payments, on-account payments and overpayments. Reconciles Cash Applications to Lockbox Remittance and Credit Card Remittance details, ensuring that daily deposits are applied in full, with an effort towards reconciling/reducing the Company's present Unapplied Cash. Reports Cash Receipts weekly/monthly and participates in the Customer Account Reconciliation process. Adheres to all policies and procedures set forth within departmental guidelines, and works well with internal and external clients in an effort to provide the best in Customer Service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Acquiring of lockbox deposit information and remittance detail for various divisions of the Company. * Reduces the Company's Unapplied Payments by ensuring that each day's lockbox deposits are applied in full to accurate customer accounts or projects, and investigates all occurrences where payee/client has not supplied sufficient remittance detail. * Responsible for the collection and maintenance of all Credit Card Authorization Forms and for the accurate processing and posting of all Credit Card payments. * Reconciles Lockbox/Credit Card remittances to Cash Receipts Journal daily. * Works in conjunction with the Regional Offices and Branch Offices to ensure that all prepayments, overpayments and unapplied payments are utilized or refunded to our customers on a monthly basis. * Weekly/Monthly reporting of Cash Receipts by division. * Monthly reconciliation and reporting of Unapplied Cash balances. * Participates in the Month-Closing process as related to A/R Cash Receipts. * Assists with collections as needed. * Completes audit requests as needed. * Other reporting and Receivable assistance as needed. * Performs approximately 75% of all duties independently. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: * A two-year Associate Degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. * 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Billing, Finance, Collections. * Analytical skills and the ability to research payment matters both independently and with the assistance of Regional Office Managers and Billers. * Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook. Oracle experience desirable.
