Heavy Civil - Lead Superintendent - Old Saybrook

O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT, is seeking a Heavy Civil Lead Superintendent to join our team at our new Amtrak project in Old Saybrook.

The Amtrak project will involve building a two-track, electrified, movable (bascule) bridge structure equipped with new track, signal, catenary, power, communication, controls and security features.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor all on-site day-to-day activities

• Plan work, forecast project needs, and determine activities for various stages of the project

• Coordinate tasks of all subcontractors

• Manage material and equipment deliveries

• Provide on-site direction

• Maintain a daily log of job site operations

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience on large railroad bridge construction projects including 5 years of recent experience working with Amtrak or other large passenger rail infrastructure projects of greater than $500 million in value

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
