Position Summary

Position Summary:

Working under direct supervision heat treat operators load and unload baskets for heat treat prep. As well as unload baskets post heat treat. They will also update data production logs, and update MRP/ERP. Demonstrate the ability to correctly interpret work orders to verify raw material lot control number, basic print reading to verify part identification. Typically 0-3 Years of Experience

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.

  • Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.

  • Correctly access and interpret documentation (H-Specs, etc.)

  • Lift up to 45lbs (Repetitive)

  • Able to work overtime as needed

  • Perform basic racking and loading of product (Furnaces)

  • Meet area/product specific production standards

  • Complete process and operation documentation (Traceability, etc.)

  • Operate hoist

  • Adjust furnace controller patterns (Per H-Spec)

  • Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Skills:

  • The ability to read and write English.

  • The ability to perform basic shop math, fractions, decimals

  • The ability to use basic inspection tools such micrometers

  • The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - basic computer skills

  • The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions

Experience & Education

  • Typically 0-3 Years
  • GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

Position Summary Come join our growing team! Opportunities available on 2nd (3pm-11pm) and 3rd (11pm-7am) shifts. Position Summary: With minimal assistance, CNC Operators will operate 2-6 axis CNC/Automated or Manual Swiss-style Screw Machine cells as well as standalone machines, which requires basic machine setup including preparing and setting up fixtures and cutting tools, as well as loading and adjusting programs and/or offsets. Level two machinist competencies include the ability to use more advanced quality inspection tools and techniques such as height and air gauges and bench inspection. The level two machinist will have basic competencies in print reading and common CNC G and M codes, and be familiar with adjusting clutches, cams, and gears. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: * Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction * Use sample parts, blueprints, and schematics to determine the method and order of operations. * Protect machines and machined product by following processes and procedures such as part loading, being in control of the machine, and safely transporting product over short distances. * Maintain product quality through monitoring and adjusting CNC or Screw Machine offsets as needed. * Perform and record in process inspection actions such as measuring and validating part features regarding dimensional tolerances and specifications. * Perform first article and buyoff * Perform setup operations which includes setting up fixtures, cutting tools and CNC programs. * Perform inspection tasks of intermediate complexity interacting with drawings and more advanced inspection tools. * Meets production demands * Run production on multiple machines at once. (Primary & Secondary) * Other duties as assigned Required Skills: * The ability to identify and correctly load and secure fixtures with minimal assistance. * A working knowledge of G and M codes applied in setting and adjusting offsets and interacting with CNC programs, and ability to accurately adjust and/or change cams and gears. * A working knowledge of shop math including tool geometry, positive and negative numbers, as well as basic geometry. * The ability to read basic prints and apply basic dimensional specifications to inspection processes.
