Coordinates high quality patient care in the Heart Rhythm Center. Provides staff support though facilitation, coaching, and role-modeling leadership behaviors which enhance quality patient care, excellent customer service, and fosters employee development.
The Electrophysiology (EP) Labs at Promedica Toledo Hospital are the only EP department in all of Promedica, and the busiest in Northwest Ohio. EP is located on the 2nd floor within the cardiovascular unit.
We are a highly efficient procedural unit where we treat high acuity cardiovascular patients on both, inpatient and outpatient bases. We operate out of 3 EP labs where we perform cardiac device implants (i.e. pacemakers, ICDs, BiVs, loop recorders, etc), complex ablations (A-fib, flutter, V-tach, SVT, PVCs, etc), and cardioversions. Our outpatient cases are scheduled Monday through Friday 7:30am until 5:00pm with potential for inpatient add-ons everyday.
