The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, seeks candidates for a heart failure and transplant cardiologist. This open rank, tenure-eligible faculty position joins a dynamic, growing academic program in Advanced Heart Failure, Mechanical Support, and Cardiac Transplantation.
The incumbent is responsible for clinical practice focusing on heart failure patients, and also provides clinical instruction to students, residents and cardiovascular fellows. Knowledge and expertise in pulmonary hypertension is preferable though not required. Opportunities for research that is commensurate with experience and interest may be accommodated.
