As a Patient Transport and Medical Courier Driver under the Supervisor of Mail and Motor Services, you will:

• Operate various vehicles to transport employees, volunteers, patients, and visitors.

• Deliver medical supplies, lab specimens, medications, and other items between healthcare locations.

• Ensure timely and secure transportation, providing a critical link in patient care and medical logistics.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely transport employees, volunteers, patients, and visitors.

• Pick up and deliver medical specimens, mail, supplies, and equipment.

• Adhere to all healthcare and transportation regulations and safety protocols.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance.

• Complete accurate records and incident reports.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• 0-1 years of related work experience

• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• CDL license with passenger endorsement

Competencies:

• Decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Effective written and oral communication in English

• Knowledge of standard practices and procedures

• Teamwork and customer service skills

Physical Requirements:

• Medium work: Exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently

• Frequent sitting, walking, twisting, and hand manipulation

• Occasional standing, bending, lifting, and pushing
