Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job andcandidates; advising managers; managing relocations and intern program.
Recruiter Job Duties:
  • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; arranging community tours.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements; negotiating with movers; arranging temporary housing; providing community introductions.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Manages intern program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching.
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Education and Experience Required
  • Previous recruiting experience in the medical, preferrably behavioral health field
  • Results Driven, Self-Movitated Individuals
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a high volume, fast paced environment

Specific Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: Leads recruitmentand selection efforts across District operations including: posting positions,developing advertising/marketing strategies for open positions, leading HRsocial media recruiting efforts, developing interview questionnaires, screeningapplicants, participation in interviews, and job offers. Represents theHuman Resources Department in a positive customer-focused manner whilemaintaining and providing timely follow-up/status of requests. Returns phone calls/electronic messagestimely. ProvidesDepartmental interface by providing specific information to the public,regulatory agencies, department managers, employees, and outside counsel asinstructed by the Director of HR. Responsible forcontinuous improvement and evaluation of policies and procedures related torecruitment and educational assistance to ensure practices facilitate theplacement of high quality candidates. Consults with theHR Managers to educate, interpret and explain meanings of policies, procedures,and systems. Manages contractflow for all recruitment/placement agreements between HR, Legal and Complianceby coordinating information and performing as a liaison between vendor, HR,Administration, Legal and Compliance. Possesses knowledge of Compliance systemused to track contracts, inputs contracts, tracks expiration dates and retainssigned agreements. Generates payrecommendations for new hires and maintains internal equity sheets, reviewsrecommendations with HR Managers to ensure consistent pay practices within Districtbusiness units and departments. Performs keyboardtasks in updating and maintaining various department records, charts, reports,claims and files, as applicable to assigned department. Coordinates andleads monthly New Hire Orientation. Prints variousletters, records, reports and related documentation; makes copies of such whereapplicable; distributes to appropriate entities. Manages,coordinates and organizes Human Resource Department projects, workflows andprocedures. Emergency dutymay be required of the incumbent that includes working in Red Cross shelters orto perform other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses tothreats or disasters, man-made or natural.
